I have viewed numerous reviews of 888 poker from 'review' sites and I'm sure they are partnered with the poker rooms therefore giving a biased opinion. I'd like some thoughts of regs that play on the site as I'm considering moving from Stars to 888 due to the potential weaker players.

Now let's see the real player opinions.

I see basically 90% as many hands per table per hour as I do on stars which is fine, but it IS capped to 6 maximum which may be a problem for some but I am content 6 tabling anyway. And tbh they slightly less hands/hr could easily just be because the player pool is softer so u see more flops.

Player pool: lol. ppl who say online poker is dead have not been to 888.

Rewards: meh

Trustworthy: they are a big company so i wouldn't expect them to go bust, but I have heard of issues with player accounts being shut down / lack of response. That being said I've had no issues and nobody I know personally has had any issues.

Edit: I've cashed out about $300 by transferring to a friend in exchange for money which has gone without error, but recently I withdrew $100 and it took around 4 days to complete. My friend tried to take a large amount (5k?) off and they asked for photo ID and stuff so if you regularly withdraw that is probably worth looking into."

Shizo211 said that "People at lower/micro stacks and SNGs seem to call almost everything. So they have a lot of fish (careful not everyone is a fish there). For example I go all in pre-flop with AA and they call that all in with QJ or K6 and often get lucky. I had to get used to the software but it's okay now.

If you want to pay in you can contact a life chat and ask for bonusses, they will most of the time try to convince you to pay-in a little bit more for the bonus but I wouldn't say no to free money (especially if it i an instant bonus).

If you like to play the short stack strategy, it works there. Because the minimum buy in there is 20bb.

Players are at least a level weaker than stars.Software is good.Rewards are pretty meh.

My biggest issue was the lack of players due to my timezone.
